John understands the American Dream because he has lived his own version. In the 1990s, John left his childhood home in Ecuador and set a course for New York City in search of his "fortune." He soon experienced success selling credit card processing to under-served Hispanic merchants, earning their trust by being the first to offer them service and support their own language. During the years he spent running a profitable sales organization, John learned the value of focusing on the needs of the merchant when making business decisions.
John used his payment industry experience to co-found Cynergy Data, a company that took an innovative approach to customer service and agent and merchant relationships. The company was named to Inc. magazine's list of "fastest-growing privately-held companies in America" for three consecutive years. As the company grew, John began to miss the satisfaction of "hands-on" leadership and of fostering a company beginning with just an idea. So, in 2006, John decided to start again and founded SignaPay.
Today, John says, listening is still the most important thing. At SignaPay, our partners and customers have a voice that we, as a company, answer to. That will always be a priority.

Jeff Brown has enjoyed a successful career in financial services for more than thirty years. A Commercial Banking lender and Branch Manager for a large commercial bank, Jeff joined First USA Merchant Services in the early 1990s to manage their Credit and Risk teams. In 1999 he moved to Priceline WebHouse and Gas to run Payment Operations and Risk Management. When the Internet Bubble burst and WebHouse closed, Jeff was recruited to First Data to lead the Chase Paymentech Alliance team. He left there with two fellow executives to form the ISO Equity Commerce in 2005, and successfully grew the business until it was acquired by SignaPay in 2012.
Today, Brown says, SignaPay holds true to its commitment to be a boutique services firm: selective in recruiting partners, flexible in building relationships and collaborative in developing solutions. "Our elite team possesses the knowledge and skill to help our partners and customers alike realize their goals," he says. "That's what makes us a different payments provider."
